Oscar Peterson, one of the most accomplished jazz pianists of all time, and Ella Fitzgerald, the “First Lady of Song,” formed a unique partnership that spanned decades. From the 1950s to the 1980s, they performed and recorded together, leaving behind a rich catalogue of jazz standards that remain beloved by fans around the world. The repertoire of An Oscar for Ella includes iconic tracks like Tenderly, Stomping at the Savoy, Dream a Little Dream, Lush Life, and many more.

Meet Craig Milverton & Joanna Eden 

Craig Milverton, described as “Britain’s nearest to Oscar Peterson,” is renowned for his virtuoso piano skills and his deep understanding of jazz. His performances are a masterclass in melody, improvisation, and swing, and his trio is in high demand, performing with the today’s top jazz acts.

Joanna Eden, a celebrated singer-pianist, has a soulful voice and captivating stage presence. With a career spanning two decades and collaborations with artists like Van Morrison and Tom Jones, Joanna is known for her warmth and connection with audiences. Her tribute to Ella Fitzgerald garnered a standing ovation at the Smithsonian’s Ella Fitzgerald Collection. Her mentee, soul singer, Sam Smith, stated, “she’s the reason I sing”.
