Buying Tickets

This section tells you all you need to know about buying tickets to Jazz Jurassica events. It tells you  how and where to buy tickets,  our terms and conditions on  refunds, cancellations, booking fees and free tickets for carers.

Buying tickets online

You can buy tickets online 24/7 for all events. 

Alternatively, you can book by phone through our ticket agent, Ticket Source on 0333 666 3366. (Mon-Fri: 9am-7pm; Sat: 9am-5pm).

Members of Marine Theatre benefit from a 10% discount to Jazz Jurassica events at the Theatre by inputting their membership number when booking tickets. Please bring your membership card to the event as proof of eligibility.

Buying tickets in person

Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis
You can also purchase tickets for events at Marine Theatre, in person, through their Box Office on Monday & Friday only, 10am-1pm.

The Gateway, Seaton
You can purchase tickets for Jazz Suppers at The Gateway, in person, from their Box Office, Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-1pm.

Tickets for Jazz Suppers

Booking is essential.

Tickets for jazz suppers at The Royal Lion in Lyme Regis and The Gateway in Seaton include a two-course supper – a main course + dessert. You will be able to choose your main course, one of which will be vegetarian.

We cater for special dietary requirements if told in advance, please email lymejazz@gmail.com before or after booking. You can find out more about Jazz Suppers, here.

Refunds

Once purchased, we do not permit any exchanges or refunds unless we cancel or reschedule the event. We recommend you take out the insurance offered when you book online.

Cancellations

If we cancel an event we will notify you by email or phone as soon as possible. But please check our website and Facebook page for last minute information.

If we cancel an event, we will issue you a full refund including any booking fee. This will be done automatically by Ticket Source. But if you need to contact them you can do so here.

Booking fees

We sell tickets through an online ticket agency, Ticket Source. They, not us, charge a booking fee based on a fixed percentage of the ticket price to cover the costs of adminstering the service. So you will be asked to pay a modest booking fee when buying a ticket. This applies whether you book online, in person or by phone.

Buying tickets from unauthorised parties

Unfortunately there are scammers out there who offer to sell tickets they don’t have. This is more likely to happen when an event has sold out. The scammers then advertise on Facebook saying they have tickets to sell as they can no longer make the event. Don’t be tempted! It’s usually a scam!

We now run a waiting list for events which have sold out. Add your name to this list and if we get any returns we’ll be in touch with you. Then you can be sure that you’ll be purchasing bona fide tickets. 

Free tickets for personal assistants or carers

Free tickets are available for personal assistants or carers accompanying people who are registered disabled and could not attend events otherwise. This does not apply to Supper tickets.

If you’re eligible and would like to take up the free carer’s ticket then you should book and pay for your own ticket first (along with any others in your group) online or by telephone on 0333 666 3366. Then please email lymejazz@gmail.com to indicate that you’d like a carer’s ticket and we’ll then contact you about your eligibility, and any other access.
